Diljit Dosanjh-Nimrat Khaira to Gippy Grewal-Neha Sharma: New on-screen Punjabi jodies to entertain you in 2020

The camera has stopped rolling on the sets of Punjabi singer Akhil’s debut Pollywood movie ‘Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi’. He along with his female lead Rubina Bajwa was busy shooting the final schedule in Chandigarh recently and yesterday the shoot got over.

Elated on wrapping up the movie, Akhil and Rubina posed for a perfect picture. The click was shared by Akhil on his social media story and their smiling faces expressed their happiness of winding up the project.

Talking more about the movie, it is the comeback directorial of Preeti Sapru. The movie is touted to be a romantic drama, which will be making it to the big screens this year.

The year 2020 is packed with a number of movies, and with them a lot of new on-screen jodies will also be hitting the big screen. Bollywood fame Neha Sharma is making her debut in Pollywood this year with ‘Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’. In the movie she will be seen romancing Gippy Grewal, who is playing the titular role in the film. On one hand, we have Gippy the Punjabi gabru in an intense look in the movie, on the other hand, there is Neha who casts spell with her beauty and innocence. This jodi is like fire and ice together; and thus, the audience can’t wait to see them on the big screen.

Another new jodi to hit the big screen this year is of Jassie Gill and Tania. They will be seen together in ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2’. The movie is a comedy drama and the audience is expecting Jassie and Tania to essay the role of a millennial couple, who is all cool and chic. Now let’s see will this new on-screen jodi will be able to meet the expectations of the audience or not.

Besides Jassie Gill and Tania, the movie ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2’ will feature another fresh pairing - Ranjit Bawa and Aarushi Sharma. These two worked together earlier as well in the 2019 released ‘High End Yaariyaan’. However, in that movie they were not paired opposite one another; and thus, ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool 2’ is their first movie together as a Pollywood on screen jodi.

One of the much awaited jodies to hit the big screen this year is of Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira. And fun fact - this new on -screen couple will be seen together in the film with the title - ‘Jodi’. Now generally we see contrasting characteristics as the USP of a new pair, but in Diljit and Nimrat the similar quality of simplicity is what attracted the audience. There are not many pictures of this new on-screen Pollywood couple, but the ones that circulated on the internet were painted in the hues of simplicity and they tugged at the heartstrings instantly.

The news of Ranjit Bawa and Sapna Pabbi sharing the silver screen together came out recently only. The two will be seen together in the movie - ‘Men In Black - Kaale Kacchian Wale’. The movie is an out and out comedy drama, whose shot started recently. Yet again it’s a handsome turbanator opposite and a beautiful diva, and thus, one can keep the expectations high.
