66th National Film Awards: Sameep Singh touches Venkaiah Naidu’s feet before accepting the Best Child Artist Award

Child artist Sameep Singh who made his debut with ‘Harjeeta’ last year impressed one and all with his impeccable acting skills. The level of his talent can be measured from the very fact that his debut stint made him win the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.
Yes, Sameep Singh won the title of Best Child Artist at the 66th National Film Awards. The award was announced in August, and today the ceremony of the same took place in Delhi.Now on the one hand where the Sameep getting such a huge honor at such a young age is a head turner, the child artist won hearts when he touched the feet of the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu as he stepped on the stage.

Talking more about Sameep, he was discovered by the female lead of ‘Harjeeta’ Sawan Rupowali. She met him in the ground where she practiced hockey and introduced him to the makers. Least did she know that this young star will rise to be a national award winner one day.
Further, after making his debut in ‘Harjeeta’, Sameep didn’t look back. He went on to work in the industry. His recent movies include ‘Rabb Da Radio 2’ and ‘Ardaas Karan’.
