Anita Date, who has been associated with various genres and is known for her popular Marathi play ‘Halka Fulka’, is celebrating her birthday today.
Anita is known to have essayed five roles in late Rasika Joshi’s revived play ‘Halka Fulka’. Rasika had done the play in the beginning of her career. After her demise,
Kshitee Jog stepped in and played the roles essayed by Rasika, but she also walked out of the play when she couldn’t balance the pressure of her Hindi daily soap and the play schedule.
That is when Anita stepped in and performed the myriad roles with Bharat Ganeshpure as her co-actor.
The actor has gone on record to say that Marathi theatre is her favourite genre and she has acted in various plays during her school and college days.
