Rahul Deshpande gives a glimpse of his acting skills with Mee Vasantrao’s teaser

Indian classical singer Rahul Deshpande’s singing skills are known to many, but very few know that he also has inclination towards acting. His dream of acting is now being fulfilled with his upcoming debut film Mee Vasantrao.
The film Mee Vasantrao is based on the life of Late Vasnatrao Deshpande which is being played by his grandson Rahul Deshpande himself. Making his acting debut in Marathi films through this film Rahul shared that till now he has been carrying forward his family tradition with his devotion towards classical singing and now with this film he will try to make his grandfather even more proud.
Directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, Mee Vasantrao’s poster was unveiled by Ustaad Zakir Hussain recently which was followed by a teaser release by Rahul on social media. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “Mee Vasantrao teaser मराठी संगीत क्षेत्रातलं सळसळतं वादळ, ज्यानं आपल्या आक्रमक शैलीत स्वतःची ओळख सिद्ध केली... पंडित वसंतराव देशपांडे यांच्या जीवनावरील चित्रपटाची ही पहिली झलक... मी वसंतराव... #MeeVasantrao”
