Zhunj Marathmoli participants to add Marathi tadka onscreen

With the thought ‘Ladha Swabhimanacha, Majhya Marathi Asmitecha’ – my fight for respect as a true Maharashtrian, 14 celebrities have taken the challenge in the reality show 'Zhunj Marathmoli'. The show also marks the debut of actor Shreyas Talpade in a TV show. Here is a look at the celebs who are participating in the show anchored by Shreyas.

Deepti Shrikanth:
Deepti Shrikanth (Dalvi) has been a part of several leading shows. She has played important roles in ‘Pankhanchi Saavli’, ‘Char Divas Sasuche’, ‘Sata Janmachya Gathi’, ‘Avaghachi Sansaar’ and others. She shot to fame with the TV serial ‘Mala Sasu Havi’. She has done some Hindi shows like ‘Bade Achche Lagate Hai’, ‘Bhagyavidhta’ and others. She fears water. She dislikes pets, reptiles, insects, Chinese food, debate and loudness.

Vikram Gaikwad:
Vikram had been doing small time roles in television serials and films. He shot to fame with the show 'Uncha Maza Zoka' in which he played the lead role. He essayed the iconic character of Madhavrao Ranade who had done some incredible work in the field of education for women. He will be next seen in Samruddhi Porey’s biopic ‘Dr Prakash Baba Amte - The Real Hero’. He loves non-veg food and travelling. He claims he is afraid of nothing in this world. He enjoys reading.

Manisha Kelkar:
Manisha Kelkar has been around in the industry for the past nine years. Her grandparents were a part of silent and historical movies. Her father Ram Kelkar was a popular writer and mother was a classical dancer. She did her graduation in Microbiology and did Post Graduation in Film making. She has been a part of Hindi films like ‘Lottery’ and ‘Bandook’. She has done anchoring for the reality comedy show ‘Comedy Express’. She worked with late filmmaker Rajeev Patil in his film ‘Vanshvel’. She believes in karma. She fears being away from her family. She likes adventure and travelling.

Aarti Solanki:
Aarti is known of her strong acting, comedy and got to get it attitude. She participated in a reality dance show ‘Eka Peksha Ek – Apsara Aali’ and she also reached the finale of the season. She has been a part of Hindi films like ‘Heroine’. She has done some commendable work on television too. A big time foodie, Aarti loves to dance. She loves performing comedy skits.

Abhijit Thakur:
Abhijit Thakur is a jack of all trades. A stylist, choreographer, dancer and an actor by profession started his career with Marathi and Hindi advertisements. He gradually moved to reality shows. He recently did the styling for Ravi Jadhav’s ‘TP - Timepass’. He looks forward to the release of film ‘Maalak’ in which he has acted. He has been associated with Bollywood veteran diva Hema Malini through her dance troupe called Nativya Kala Kendra for past 10 years, where he performs Odissi dance and folk dance as the second lead. He likes acting, dancing and working out. His worst fear is a bike ride.

Hemlata Bane:
An actress by profession, Hemlata Bane always nurtured the dream to act in films. She started her acting career with Sachin Pilgaonkar's 'Amhi Satpute'. She played the lead role in 'Lavu Ka Lath'. She has also done theatre and acted in plays like 'Hawaldar Bhola Baikovar Dola'.She did an item number in the film 'Tata Birla aani Laila'. She got noticed for her dance through the reality dance show 'Ekapeksha Ek'.

Megha Dhade:
Megha Dhade started her acting career as a child artist through theatre. She got her big break through Ekta Kapoor’s popular show ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’. Later she did a Marathi show for Sangeeta Sarang. She even produced a Marathi movie titled ‘Superstar’ and played the main lead. Currently she is working on National Award winning director Shivaji Lotan Patil’s ‘Rajwada'. She is a sensitive person and is afraid of water.

Megha Sampat:
Megha Sampat Kini is a renowned choreographer. Extremely upfront and straightforward, Megha carries the no nonsense attitude. She started her career at an early age of 18. She has been choreographing for corporate events and filmi functions. She likes spending time with her husband and her daughter. Waking up early in the morning and working on Sundays are the biggest woes of her life. She fears ghosts. Shopping, partying with friends and exploring new places are her hobbies.

Paddy:
A comedian by profession Paddy akka Pandharinath Kamble is known for his comedy acts in films and television shows. He started his career way back in 1989. He got popular with the show ‘Kumari Gungubai Non Matric’ where he was seen acting alongside Nirmitee Sawant. He was last seen in Kundan Shah’s movie ‘P se PM tak’. Extremely helpful by nature, Paddy loves to sleep and sing.

Parag Kanhere:
Parag Kanhere is a renowned chef from Pune. He started doing food shows on television since 2007. He has done more than 1350 episodes so far. His expertises lies in focusing on basic traditional recipes by giving it a modern gastronomic touch. His favourite food includes breads, biryanis and barbecues.His favourite music is Marathi soft melodies, reggae and Hindi pop. He likes horse riding. Sailing is another interesting hobby of his.

Ruchi Savarn:
This Nagpur-based actress has stayed in Delhi for over 10 years. She has worked for films as an assistant director and also did production work for few ad films. She got featured in Kailash Kher music video. She was last seen in the Hindi daily soap ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi’ in which she played the lead role. Ruchi loves to dance. She enjoys meeting new people. She dislikes fake people. Water and height are her biggest fears.

Vidya Sagar:
Vidya Sagar aka Satish Shivaji Dede is an upcoming choregrapher. He has choreographed various award functions. He enjoys learning new lessons from life with every new experience. He likes making new friends and hanging out at new places. Vidya Sagar hates politics and liars. Losing his loved ones is the biggest fear of his life.

Swapnil Rajshekhar Bhutkar:
Swapnil Rajshekhar Bhutkar is an actor. He started his career as a child artist with a Marathi film titled ‘Tamasgeer’. He later did some films like ‘Pratidaav’ and ‘Saang Priye Tu Konachi’. He has done over 60 films till now and his work includes films like ‘Balgandharva’, ‘Teen Bayka Fajiti Aika’, ‘Durga Mhantyat Mala’ and others. He has been a part of the Hindi daily soap ‘Veer Shivaji’. He was also a part of shows like ‘Char Divas Sasuche’, ‘Gaane Tumche Amche’ and ‘Ajunhi Chandraat Aahe’. He dislikes gossiping. Tyagraj Khadilkar:
Tyagraj Khadilkar is an actor and singer. He is the grandson of freedom fighter, dramatist and journalist Krishnaji Prabhakar Khadilkar. He worked as a child artist in the comedy play ‘Sakhi Shejarini’ with late Sharad Talwalkar. Later, he acted in plays like ‘Varyawarchi Varaat’. He also acted in the television show ‘Nivadunga’.
