Marathi celebs condemn Peshawar attack

Thousands condemned the Taliban attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan where more than 100 school-going kids were killed by the terrorist group. Marathi celebs too took to their social networking pages and voiced their displeasure over the ghastly attack.

Shreyas Talpade
The superhero of the Marathi film industry, Shreyas ‘Baji’ Talpade also condemned the attack. He wrote, ‘What kind of show of strength is that stupid Taliban showing here by killing innocent & vulnerable kids?Rot in hell Taliban #PeshawarAttack’ (sic)

Riteish Deshmukh
The latest daddy on the block, Riteish Deshmukh’s tweet made a lot of sense as he said, ‘Death of Humanity - Wake up World - it's not their issue -it's our issue - we need to stand up. #PeshawarAttack’ (sic). The birthday boy recently became a father to Riaan.

Sai Tamhankar
‘Ashamed, Shocked, Saddened ! #PeshawarSiege what d hell is wrong with d human race ?’ (sic), tweeted Sai Tamhankar, expressing her anger about the Peshawar Attack which left young kids dead and several others injured.

Sonalee
Sonalee put forth her disappointment in a series of tweets. She first wrote, ‘#PakSchoolSiege another one today....and another....and never this is ending hey! I seriously wanna jump off the planet.’ (sic) and followed it with another tweet that read, ‘Woke up with a heavy heart, highly disturbed reading the headlines again #PeshawarAttack ...naajaane "iss" duniya ka savera kab hoga!’ (sic)

Currently the reigning star of the Marathi industry, Swwapnil Joshi was left short of words to express his sentiments. He tweeted, ‘No words to express the pain and anger. This is shocking to say the least. My prayers with the families. #PakSchoolSiege’ (sic)
