The nation is waiting with bated breath for Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman to return home safely. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday announced that the Indian Air Force pilot will be released on Friday and returned to the country.
Wing Commander Abhinandan will reportedly be released at the Wagah Border. The IAF wing commander was captured yesterday morning after aerial combat between Indian and Pakistani fighter planes.After the incident, India had summoned Pakistani envoy on Wednesday and demanded "immediate and safe return" of the pilot.
