Umesh Kamat has received the first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine in a private hospital recently. The'Dhurala' star shared a picture on his Instagram from the centre while getting the vaccine.
In the picture, the actor is seen wearing a mask for protection while signalling a thumbs-up sign on the camera. Sharing the picture, the actor wrote "I got Vaccinated"
Apart from Umesh, recently, several other Marathi celebrities have taken the first dose of the vaccine.
Actors like
Sonalee Kulkarni, Amruta Khnavilkar, Prarthana Beher,
Amey Wagh and
Bhau Kadam.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Umesh will be next seen in
Girish Mohite's upcoming biopic 'Taathkana'. 'Taathkana' is a biopic based on the life of India's eminent Neurosurgeon, Premanand Shantaram Ramani (P.S.Ramani).
While speaking about the same filmmaker Girish Mohite said " 'Taathkana' is a biopic of Indian's glorious Neurosurgeon, P.S.Ramani. Mr Ramani's contribution to the field medical is encouraging and people must know his struggle and his challenges"
