There are no retakes and I wanted to be absolutely sure about my acting abilities before deciding to do plays. And doing theatre has made me a far more confident actor.
Asked about her role in KYBTH, Tejashri shares, The film deals with a lot of relevant social issues, including widow remarriage. I play the female lead in the film. I play a Gujarati bride in the film. As I have senior actors working in the film with me, I sometimes feel very nervous because the fear of messing things up is always there at the back of your mind. But Manoj Joshi is a wonderful person and made me feel very comfortable.
Finally, asked about her future projects, she says, I am doing an interesting Marathi movie called Lagna Pahave Karun. Besides, I am shooting for a film called Prakash Amte - The Real Hero, based on the life of award-winning social worker Prakash Amte, which also stars Nana Patekar and Sonali Kulkarni. It will probably be a bi-lingual movie (Hindi and Marathi). So I am happy with the kind of work that I am doing right now.
