Marathi cinema's popular actress Mrinal Kulkarni has turned a year old today. With her stellar performance in various genres, the 'Rama Madhav' actress has proved her mettle over the years.

Her fans and friends from the Marathi industry have taken to social media to wish the actress on her special day. We got in touch with Bollywood and Marathi cinema's popular actress Sonali Kulkarni who has shared a screen with Mrinal in Jabbar Patel's 'Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar' in 2000 and now again both actress will be sharing the screen in Gajendra Ahire's upcoming film 'Shrimati Umbrella'.

, Sonali Kulkarni said "Mrinal's younger sister Madhura is my very good friend. I have been watching her films since my college days. So, it's lovely to see her journey. For us, she was always an inspiration. Because she was the first actress to set out from Pune, though she went into television and I went into films. I am extremely fond of her and I don't think we have any other gorgeous actress like Mrinal Kulkarni around us"

While sharing her experience working with Mrinal in Gajendra Ahire's upcoming film 'Shrimati Umbrella', she said "I was wonderful to catch up with after so many years. She is very loving and often pampers her co-star. And I get the advantage of being Madhura's friend"
