Siddharth Chandekar and Mitali Mayekar engaged

After dating for almost two years, actors Siddharth Chandekar and Mitali Mayekar have taken their relationship to the next level. The two got engaged on Thursday in Mumbai amidst the presence of family members and close friends.
Sharing the reason behind choosing Jan 24 as their engagement date, Siddharth said. “We had met at an event in Kolhapur on the same date, two years ago.It was our common love for Harry Potter that brought us closer. We never formally proposed to each other, but it didn’t take us too long to realise that we were meant to be together.” When asked what he loves the most about Mitali, Siddharth added, “Mitali is ever smiling. She is a happy soul and this is what I love about her the most. In fact, she has become my mother’s favourite already!”
When quizzed about the wedding date, he replied, “It is not fixed yet. A wedding requires a lot of planning and of course, a lot of money (laughs). We want our wedding to be perfect. Though preps have begun for the D-day, it will only happen next year.”
