'Mee Vasantrao' new teaser: Rahul Deshpande looks impressive as music maestro Vasantrao Deshpande- Watch

Singer Rahul Deshpande will be seen in his much-talked-about upcoming film titled 'Mee Vasantrao' based on the life of his late grandfather Pandit Vasantrao Deshpande.
Today, the makers took to their social media handle to share a new teaser from the film. The forty-three seconds video begins with a throwback clip of late Pandit Vasantrao Deshpande performance followed by a lead star, Rahul Deshpande (late Vasantrao Deshpande's grandson)'s musical performances.

Speaking about the same, singer Rahul Deshpande said "This dream that Nipun and I saw together is now coming true. I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to follow in my grandfather's footsteps. I have not been in the company of my grandfather much but I have always heard many stories about him at home"
"So I was able to get a closer look at the ups and downs of his life on the occasion of this film. I lived that moment and from that I was able to prosper as a man, artist and singer. The journey of nine years is finally coming to an end " Deshpande concluded.
Directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, the movie stars Rahul Deshpande in the titular role and also features Amey Wagh, Anita Date-Kelkar, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Kumud Mishra, Sarang Sathaye, Kaumudi Walokar and Durga Jasraj in pivotal roles.
