Actress Ketaki Chitale, who was arrested for allegedly sharing n objectionable post about

Sharad Pawar on social media, was granted bail by a Thane court on Wednesday, June 22.
According to reports, a court in Thane district of
Maharashtra on Wednesday granted bail to Marathi actor Ketaki Chitale in connection with the case.
Earlier, the prosecution had filed a say earlier before the judge in which they had strongly opposed bail being granted to Chitale.
Now, as per latest reports, they filed another say in which they said that they had no objection to bail being granted to Chitale.
With this, Ketaki Chitale will be able to walk out of the Thane central jail, where she is currently lodged, her advocate said.
However, the public prosecutor apologised on behalf of the police and the court decided to pass an order on the bail plea on Wednesday.
The actress was arrested on May 18 by the Thane police last month over the post she allegedly shared on her Facebook page referred to Pawar.
The case was registered under section 505 (2) (statements conducting to public mischief), 500 (defamation), 501 (printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory) and 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc).
