I slipped into depression after my wedding was called off: Kiran Gaikwad

In a recent interview, actor Kiran Gaikwad revealed that he experienced significant emotional distress after his wedding was called off. He shared that he had been engaged a few months prior and was on the verge of getting married. He said, "We met through an arranged setup. We were together for six months, and we only met two or three times. But I found out through a message that my to-be-wife was two-timing. I was devastated and slipped into depression. I was also on medication."


He also expressed that there is a lot of judgment surrounding depression. "I strongly believe that people should refrain from judging those who are dealing with depression. There is a lot of stigma attached to it. As someone who has been through it, I can say that we understand that we are not in the right state, but we need someone to tell us that.
