Akshay Waghmare ties the knot with Arun Gawli’s daughter in a simple ceremony at Dagdi Chawl

Marathi actor Akshay Waghmare ties the knot to former gangster Arun Gawli’s daughter Yogita in a simple traditional ceremony at their Dagadi Chawl residence in central Mumbai on Friday amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

According to reports, the couple tied the knot at Shankar temple in the presence of their family members without any big celebrations. The family had informed the Agripada police about the ceremony and only three to four guests each from both families who were attending the wedding.

The Marathi actor and his family members secured necessary permission from relevant authorities and travelled to Mumbai for the wedding on Wednesday. In the evening on Thursday, the couple had their Haldi ceremony in the presence of their family members.

Earlier, they were scheduled to get married on March 29 in a grand manner at a five-star hotel in Lower Parel. However, it was postponed due to the ongoing lockdown.
