'PATRIOT' first song 'Kattu Thottappol' to premiere on March 12 via Sushin Shyam’s YouTube channel

The makers of ‘PATRIOT’, the much-awaited spy thriller directed by Mahesh Narayan, are gearing up to intensify the film’s promotional activities this week. Backed by producers Anto Joseph and KG Anil Kumar, ‘PATRIOT’ has already generated strong buzz for bringing together two stalwarts of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Mohanlal. Along with the iconic duo, the film boasts an impressive cast that includes Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara and Revathy, making it one of the most talked-about Malayalam projects in recent times.According to Mathrubhumi.com, as a part of the campaign, the film’s first track will be unveiled through composer Sushin Shyam’s YouTube channel on Thursday, March 12. The song release is expected to offer audiences their first musical glimpse into the world of the upcoming thriller.The opening track from the film’s album is titled "Kattu Thottappol". Described as a romantic melody, the song has been sung by Sai Prabha and Kapil Kapilan. It is expected to feature Kunchacko Boban alongside Darshana Rajendran on screen, adding a softer emotional layer to the otherwise intense espionage drama.Sushin Shyam has composed both the soundtrack and background score for ‘PATRIOT’. For the lyrics, the composer teamed up with poet and lyricist Anwar Ali. Together they have created a three-song album for the film, blending contemporary sounds with emotional storytelling. The release of "Kattu Thottappol" also marks an important step for Sushin Shyam professionally. Instead of launching the music through a traditional label, the composer has chosen to premiere the track through his YouTube channel.
