Lyricist Yusufali Kechery passes away

Veteran poet and lyricist Yusufali Kechery passes away in Kochi. He was suffering from bronchial pneumonia. He was 81 and had been admitted in the Emergency ICU of Amirta hospital after he was detected with pneumonia. the poet has written about 600 songs for 150 films. He has bagged numerous awards, including the prestigious Odakkuzhal award, Kerala Sahitya Academy award, to name a few.
