Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho
In the soundtrack of Kochavva Paulo composer Shaan Rahman has put together a handful of songs with about five lyricists. And it has a familiar texture the music director has mastered over the years.
The album has all the emotions that a story about a do-gooder can traverse. The songs showcase extreme passion to lovesickness and confusion quite well.
1x1 polls
An enchanting Neelakannulla Maane is the opening song of the album and the simple melody in the voices of Vijay Yesudas and Swetha Mohan, makes it a simple-yet classy song. Job K is up next with the song Mele Mukilodum, which is an upbeat outing with some catchy arrangements. It has a fly free feel to it, and entertains decently as a standalone song too. Hesham Abdul Wahabs voice soothes every troubled heart through the song Ethu Meghamaari, a slow paced, yet intense track. Listen to it with your eyes closed, and it helps you ease some pain. Its reprised version by a sonorous Anne Amie is comparatively a lot more compelling, and its likely to work even more effectively with corresponding visuals. The composer takes the singers avatar through the next song Dooradooram. A medium-paced song that can give you a good time over a bike ride, its most interesting part is the chorus lines. It has some simple yet deep insights into the story called life, as well. Vaanam Mele by Shankar Mahadevan, the next song, is a passable listen. It might fit in nicely somewhere in the film, but as a standalone track, doesnt do much.
