'What is the point of earning money like this': Nadirshah says there is a planned attack on ‘Magic Mushrooms’

Director Nadirshah revealed there is a planned cyber attack happening against his new film 'Magic Mushrooms'.


Nadirshah says some people online are trying very hard to pull the movie down. He says vloggers are putting many negative videos again and again. and this seems not like normal reviewing. According to the director it looks like a clear plan to harm the film.

Director talks about visiting theatres

As reported by Asianet News, Nadirshah says he and the team have been visiting theatres for the last few days. He said, “For the last two to three days, we have been going to theatres where the movie is running. If a movie is bad, no one will have the courage to go to the theatre. Whether they are actors or technical crew.”



Director says they only go when they feel the audience response is good. He added, “For a director, writer, hero, heroine, and producer to boldly walk into a theatre, the feedback from the audience must be positive. Only then will we go.”


The director said that the audience response has been good everywhere and they even posted videos from theatres in the Malabar area and Kochi.

Some vloggers are doing this on purpose

Nadirshah told the media that some people online are trying to destroy the film. He said that normal reviews are not a problem. Director told the media that it is okay when someone likes a film or does not like a film.

According to Nadirshah this case is different as these vloggers are posting again and again and it is not a one-time opinion. Nadirshah feels that this looks like a plan to destroy his latest film.

Nadirshah explains what one vlogger said

Nadirshah talks about one vlogger specifically, “In the new video, he says he went to Ernakulam Forum Mall and something was being shot there. Then the same person says that the review he posted yesterday against Magic Mushrooms got huge reach. That means he has decided to live off this.”


Nadirshah told that this is not a real review, “If it is a genuine review, then you say the movie was good or not good. That is the end of it.”

Someone is behind these attacks

Nadirshah believes this is not random. He says, “But this is a continued attack done only to target the film. Someone has assigned them this, and they are all doing it together.”

The 'Amar Akbar Anthony' director feels there is a group effort happening against the film and someone wants the film to fail.

Questions why they earn money this way

Nadirshah strongly questions the intention behind these attacks. He says, “What is the point of earning money like this and eating it? If the film is not good, we have the right to say that. But this kind of planned attack clearly has a target.”
