Unni Mukundan speaks about his association with ‘Malikappuram’ cinematographer Vishnu Narayanan

‘Malikappuram’ featuring Unni Mukundan in the lead role is running successfully in the cinemas, and the star has now spoken about his rapport with the cinematographer of the film Vishnu Narayanan. Unni Mukundan took to his social media handle and shared a note, recalling that his first association with the cinematographer was for ‘KL 10 Patthu’, a film released in 2015.
“@vishnunarayannamboothiri The DOP of Malikapuram. We go long back to our first association for the movie, Kl10 pathu. It was a really good film, but didn’t get its due at the theatres. We were praised for it later on when kl10 was aired online,” Unni Mukundan said in the note.
He went on to add that while they joined hands for ‘Malikappuram’, all they wanted was a blockbuster! “So, when we both joined hands for this one, The only thing we wanted for a blockbuster in the theatres. And we got it !! I had several difference of opinions with him, so many fights that eventually led to what you saw on screen. Thank you vishnu for your head strong commitment and for giving me your best !! This was a very important film for me for many reasons! Cheers mate! Looking for our next and many more !! 🔥❤️” Unni Mukundan said.

‘Malikappuram’ hit the big screens on December 30, and the film has reportedly crossed Rs 40 crore at the box office. The film also has child actors Deva Nandha, and, Sreepath in the lead roles.
