Action Comedy

Mammootty’s ‘Turbo’ is penned by the ‘Anjaam Paathira’ writer Midhun Manuel Thomas and for the same reason, the expectations are also high for the project. The writer has revealed in an interview with Cue that the movie will fall under the genre of action comedy and will have all the aspects that will be highly entertaining for the audiences. Midhun Manuel Thomas has already proved his talent in executing comedy with the superhit film ‘Aadu’

Kannada entry

Popular Kannada actor Raj B Shetty will be marking his entry into the Mollywood film industry with ‘Turbo’. The actor was also seen playing a pivotal role in Aparna Balamurali starrer ‘Rudhiram’. Raj B Shetty was last seen in the superhit drama thriller film ‘Toby’ which received much praise from both the critics and audiences as well.

Mammootty - Vysakh duo

Even though Vysakh’s previous outing ‘Monster’ didn’t work well at the box office, the director has set a good track record as most of his films such as ‘Pulimurugan’ and ‘Pokkiri Raja’ turned out to be all-time blockbusters. With ‘Turbo’, Mammootty and Vysakh will be teaming up for the third time. Previously the duo teamed up for the superhit films ‘Pokkiri Raaja’ and ‘Madhura Raaja’

On par with ‘Jailer’, ‘Leo’

During an interview with Mindscan, the actor Prashanth Alexander revealed that the movie 'Turbo' will come on par with the blockbuster films ‘Jailer’, and ‘Leo’. The actor also said that with the inclusion of the actors Raj B Shetty and several other A list actors, ‘Turbo’ will have the canvas of a pan Indian movie.
