‘Thrimoorthy’ is India’s first campus time travel movie- Director Sarathlal Nemibhuvan - Exclusive

Time travel movies are always fodder for any movie buff. The intense love towards the Hollywood films like ‘Triangle’, ‘Predestination’, and several others are really good examples of how much the audience loves the genre. Now the debutant Mollywood director Sarathlal Nemibhuvan is bringing the time travel genre to the Malayali audience with his latest film ‘Thrimoorthy’.

In an exclusive interview with the director Sarathlal Nemibhuvan, he opened up with full confidence by saying, “ ‘Thrimoorthy’ is India’s first campus time travel movie that will also have almost 21 songs.”

Talking further about ‘Thrimoorthy’, the director said, “The film centers on three people and their campus life. Although the element of time travel happens only for a short period of time, it’s told in a fantasy way and will be a complete visual treat along with several catchy songs.”

“I will term ‘Thrimoorthy’ as a science fiction movie although it comprises action, romance, comedy, and friendship. Also, we are introducing almost 250 debutant artists who were selected through a genuine audition process.”, Sarath further added

Sarathlal revealed exclusively that ‘Thrimoorthy’ will be released in two parts and will be dubbed in three languages. Nanjiyamma will be crooning a major song in the movie and will be also playing a pivotal character.

“Now we are in pre-production and the film will start rolling soon after we wrap up the shoot of the promo song which is scheduled for January 9th. Also, we have plans to release the movie in more than three languages ” Sarath concluded.
