Rima condemns killings in maoist encounter

While most celebrities have kept mum about the recent Moaist encounter and killings by the Kerala government, Rima Kallingal has expressed her views in a subtle manner. "19 bullets and an unarmed woman," she wrote on her facebook page, along with a picture of the Maoist Ajitha, who was shot dead on Thursday, after they encountered the police in Nilambur, Malappuram district. The two Maoists, Kuppuswamy and Ajitha, were unarmed, and so the incident has raised questions about the encounter.
Interestingly, Rima's upcoming film Kadu Pookkunna Neram by Dr Biju will see her as a Maoist on the run.
