Oscars 2024: ‘The Face of the Faceless’ starring Win. C makes it to the eligibility list for the original score and song

‘The Face of the Faceless’ directed by Shaison P. Ouseph, featuring Kerala State Film Award-winning actress Win. C in the lead role has made it to the eligibility list for Best Original Score and Best Original Score categories at the Oscars 2024. Alphons Joseph has scored the music for the movie. The songs “Barala Tribal Song,” “Ek Sapna Mera Suhana,” and “Jalta Hai Suraj” from the film ‘The Face of the Faceless’ have been nominated. Ninety-four songs and 149 scores have met the criteria for consideration in the music categories at the 96th annual Academy Awards.Music director Alphons Joseph and actress Win C expressed their excitement for making it to the list.Helmed by Shaison P. Ouseph, ‘The Face of the Faceless’ is based on the true story of Sr. Rani Maria, her life among the most vulnerable, and her tragic death in their cause.
