Nivin Pauly celebrates one year of Kayamkulam Kochunni

October 11 is a special day for Nivin Pauly in many ways. It’s his birthday and also the day that his biggest project Kayamkulam Kochunni had released in theatres in last year.
“How quickly time flies!! One year of #KayamkulamKochunni!” posted Nivin on his social media page, with a poster of the film, “celebrating one year of mass robbery”.
Last year, on the success of Kayamkulam Kochunni, Nivin had told us that he did not expect it to go on to be such a big hit.“I only wanted the movie to be good. But I was confident that the audience would like it because technically the film had come out well, it had a solid script, lots of action scenes and it has been a while since there has been a period film in Malayalam. Plus, Kochunni is a beloved figure. So, it had a lot of positives, but the movie’s success exceeded all our expectations and I am glad for that,” he said.
