Mammootty: Salim Ahamed's next film with the star

The National Award winning director's Kunjananthante Kada will have the superstar playing the title roleAfter the critically acclaimed movie Adaminte Makan Abu, National Award winning director Salim Ahamed is ready with his next. Titled Kunjananthante Kada, the film will see Mammootty essaying the title character.Actor Salim Kumar, who won the National Award for his role in Adaminte Makan Abu, is said to have been roped in for a prominent role in this one too.'The story revolves around a couple facing marital discord. It is, in fact, a take on what is happening in our society. There are many such couples who continue to live together just for the sake of their children. This story is about one such couple,' says Salim.Mammootty plays the owner of a grocery store. The director is now on the lookout for a heroine. The film sees the entire team behind Adaminte Makan Abu coming together once again to recreate the magic onscreen. Salim has not only written the story and script, he will also be producing the film. Madhu Ambat will handle the camera and Oscar winner Resul Pookutty takes charge of the sound mixing which will be done in sync. Kunjananthante Kada, which will start rolling by the end of the year, will be shot in Palghat.
