Malayalis should be proud of Jayasurya: Sarath Das

Actor Sarath Das, who is a household name among the Malayali TV audience, will now be seen in a plum role in Su… Su… Sudhi Vathmeekam. For him, the movie is a lot more than bagging a big screen role after a long time.
“It is about reviving good old friendships. It was great working again with director Ranjith Sankar, who had scripted my serial Nizhalukal and also Jayasurya, who had dubbed for me in the serial Sthree,” he says.
Sarath says Jayasurya’s career is a testimony of sorts to the actor’s dedication to the craft. “He is a perfect example of hard work, determination and commitment. From the way he maintains his body and to working hard to make his each role memorable has to be appreciated! He is a star that Malayalis should be always proud of,” he says.
Sarath will be seen as Jayasurya’s close friend in the movie. “My character's name is Jayan who supports the introvert Sudhi in the film. He uplifts Sudhi’s mood whenever he is confused. As it is based on a real life event, I am only there in one part of his life,” he explains.
