Kunchacko Boban and Namitha Pramod will be teaming up again, this time for a film with a different kind of title and story. The film titled Jamunapyari will see the two romancing each other, but it is apparently not a love story. Rather it is a road movie with elements of a thriller, says its director Thomas Sebastian, who directed Maya Bazar. Jamunapyari is a kind of rare breed of goat, and the goat has an important part to play in the film.
“Jamunapyari is a goat breed, which is low in weight but very tall. The film will centre around a journey undertaken by a group of four people. That is all we wish to reveal now,” says Thomas.
Apart from Kunchacko, Joy Mathew, Chemban Vinod and Neeraj Madhav also play equally important roles in the film, as the group which undertakes the journey. The relationship of the protagonist with his late father also plays an important part in the film. This is the third time for which Kunchacko and Namitha are teaming up. They have acted together earlier in
Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum and
Law Point. The shoot of
Jamunapyari will start on April 10 in Palakkad.
