Malayalam actor Jayaram recently opened up about an emotional experience involving MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni during a promotional event for his upcoming Malayalam film Parimalam and Co. The actor revealed in an interview that the incident happened when he travelled to Chennai to watch an IPL match featuring the Chennai Super Kings. Jayaram said he was seated in the stadium when he suddenly noticed Sakshi Dhoni walking nearby. Initially, he quietly pointed her out to the person sitting next to him and mentioned that she was Dhoni’s wife. According to the actor, she also told him that she was a huge admirer of his work. Jayaram admitted he was initially confused by the situation and even wondered whether she had mistaken him for someone else.Sharing the incident during an interview, Jayaram said, “The incident happened about a week ago. I had gone to Chennai to watch an IPL match. While I was sitting in my seat, I saw Dhoni’s wife Sakshi walking by. I quietly told the person sitting next to me that it was Dhoni’s wife. But in reality, she was actually coming towards me. She came running from a distance and touched my feet. She said she was a huge fan of mine."Ziva Dhoni’s connection to Jayaram’s songJayaram further explained how Sakshi Dhoni knew him and his work so well. According to the actor, one of Sakshi’s close Malayali friends had introduced his films and songs to the family. He revealed that Dhoni and Sakshi’s daughter Ziva Dhoni used to regularly listen to the Malayalam song “Ambalappuzha Unnikannanodu Nee.”Jayaram said the family friend often sang the song for Ziva during her childhood.Recalling the emotional moment, the actor said, “I was completely shocked. For a moment, I wondered whether she had mistaken me for someone else and touched my feet by accident. But she knew exactly who I was. One of her close Malayali friends used to regularly sing the song ‘Ambalappuzha Unnikannanodu Nee’ from my film for Dhoni and Sakshi’s daughter Ziva.
