Happy Sardar trailer shows a happy, hilarious romance

There are many stages to romance and when the father of the bride already has three daughters who have married against his wishes, he will be intent on enforcing his ideas on his youngest daughter. But of course, things don’t always go to plan. That is the hilarious premise to Happy Sardar, which released its second trailer recently.
The film, written and directed by Sudip and Geethika, has Kalidas Jayaram and Merin Philip playing the romantic lead pair.They must convince their Punjabi and Malayali parents to give them their blessings, and this is done via boat races and some ‘balle balle’ song sequences. The film, set to release on November 28, promises some laughs and a lot of heart.
