Began her career as a child actress
Most of the Keralites know her as the ‘Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya’ star. But that isn’t her debut movie. Her first-ever film was ‘Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded’. Yes, that’s right! She made her debut back in 2009 and has technically completed a decade in cinema! She was apparently in seventh grade and was a child actor in her debut film!

The ‘Pisaasu’ made her a star!
For most of us, ghosts and spirits give us the biggest nightmares. But it wasn’t the case for Prayaga Martin! Those evil spirits in fact brought her luck, literally! Prayaga Martin made headlines after starring in Tamil film ‘Pisaasu’, directed by Mysskin. The horror thriller won hearts and so did the character played by Prayaga Martin. ‘Pisaasu’ is Prayaga Martin’s first film as a lead actress and interestingly she played a similar mysterious supernatural being in ‘Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya’, her debut Malayalam movie as a lead. The pey, pisaasu and the yakshi only helped the diva to climb heights!

She holds a Masters in Travel and Tourism management
Prayaga Martin is a postgraduate. The diva was so adamant about not missing the academics because of cinema. And so she always made sure to do good at academics. The actress who did a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Communication studies later went on to pursue higher studies. She holds a Master’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management and graduated in 2019.

An ardent fan of Mohanlal
Prayaga Martin is a huge admirer of Mohanlal. Well, who isn’t, right! The actress has always been vocal about her admiration for the Complete actor. And the most striking part about it is she got to make her debut in films along with the superstar himself. Prayaga’s debut film ‘Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded’ featured Mohanlal in the lead.
