​Punjabi House (1998)

Directed by Rafi Mecartin, 'Punjabi House' is the best Malayalam movie that could offer you instant relief from all your stress. The comedy-drama tells the story of Unni (Dileep), who decides to commit suicide as he can't repay his debts. Gangadharan (Cochin Haneefa), a fishing boat owner and Ramanan (Harisree Ashokan) his employee, save him from death. Unni pretends to be deaf and mute and the rest is what you should watch. The impressive chemistry between these three characters makes the movie a lively affair.

​Ee Parakkum Thalika (2001)

Well, if you are ready to laugh your lungs out, 'Ee Parakkum Thalika' is for you! Unnikrishnan (Dileep) and his friend Sundareshan (Harisree Ashokan) own an old bus in a bad condition which causes a lot of problems. From fleeing from haters to planning to run a mobile restaurant to using the bus as a rental vehicle for a wedding, the movie is full of hilarious events. The film which also has emotional moments is a must-watch during the quarantine.

​Meesha Madhavan (2002)

Lal Jose's directorial 'Meesa Madhavan' is undoubtedly one of the best entertainers in Mollywood. Starring Dileep, the movie tells the story of a local thief, who is loved by one and all in the village. Madhavan (Dileep) is a lovable thief, who believes in helping the poor and loved ones. Madhavan's affection for Rukmini (Kavya Madhavan), and her father Bhageerathan Pillai (Jagathy Sreekumar), a moneylender, refusing to give Madhavan's property even after paying off the loan amount forms the crux of the movie. Madhavan's robbery lessons to robbing off Rukmini's heart, the movie is a perfect pick to get rid of your boredom.

​CID Moosa (2003)

'CID Moosa' directed by Johny Antony is one Malayalam movie which could never bore anyone. Sahadevan (Dileep) dreams of becoming a police officer however ends up becoming a private detective. Sahadevan and his trained pet dog Arjun are the key characters in the movie. Their hilarious method of solving a crime and Sahadevan's rivalry with his brother-in-law Pithaambaran (Jagathy Sreekumar) makes the film an unmissable entertainer. Leave your brains aside and make some space for the slapstick comedy as it is going to tickle your funny bone for sure!

​Vettam (2004)

The screwball comedy directed by Priyadarshan is the best movie to soothe your worries. Be prepared for some pain in your jaws as 'Vettam' is going to present you with infinite laughter. Gopalakrishnan (Dileep) is a petty thief and he steals a diamond chain from a museum. Gopi places the chain in Veena's (Bhavana Pani) bag, who is a stranger and his efforts to get back the chain forms the plot of the movie. Unable to take the chain, Gopi is forced to travel along with Veena. The movie has a bunch of talented actors including Kalabhavan Mani, Jagathy Sreekumar, Cochin Haneefa, Sukumari, Bindu Panicker, Geetha Vijayan, Innocent, Janardhanan, Baiju amongst others and they have made sure that not a second in the movie passes without laughter.
