Despite the industry's significant growth, Fahadh noted that securing OTT deals remains a challenge, hindering the reach and exposure of Malayalam films to wider audiences.
The 'Aavesham' actor emphasized that Malayalam films often face hurdles in securing OTT deals, necessitating successful theatrical runs to attract streaming platforms' attention.
Highlighting a stark contrast, Fahadh noted that over 80 percent of films from other Indian film industries secure OTT deals effortlessly, often before production commences. He highlighted the disparity in opportunities, with Malayalam films struggling to secure similar recognition and exposure on digital platforms.
