Mollywood actor Dileep is gearing up to play what could be his biggest role yet, of Sathya Sai Baba. The multilingual by Telugu director Kodi Ramakrishnan will start rolling early next year. The actor, who will play the role of the godman from age 25 to 85, tells us that the crew of Baba Sathya Sai are currently busy finalising the locations of the film, that will be shot all over India.
'We are planning to begin the shoot from January 2013. It's a very challenging character and I'm taking some time to prepare for the role,' he says.
The actor is currently excited about working with megastar
Mammootty for
Kammath and Kammath after a gap of 11 years. The film would see both the actors play Konkani-speaking hotel owners.
Ask him if the Konkani accent is just a gimmick to add a different layer to the characters and Dileep says, 'It's more than that. The movie would also highlight how the language Konkani came to Kerala.'
While Baba Sathya Sai's schedule would keep him busy in the first half of 2013, Dileep has also signed up for Vysakh's
Sound Thoma.
