After the blockbuster movie, Meesamadhavan, which elevated both Dileep’s and Lal Jose’s careers, and last year’s Spanish Masala, the duo are teaming up once again for the actor’s Christmas release titled Ezhu Sundararathrikal. The film, which is penned by Jawan of Vellimala scribe James Albert, will have Dileep playing an ad filmmaker and revolves around the seven days before his wedding.
“We are yet to finalise the casting of the film, which will have two lead actresses and several youngsters. It’ll be a full-length entertainer,” says James, adding that he’s still busy with the script work and would start casting only when Lal finishes his next project.
Lal is currently working on the Kunchacko Boban-starrer, Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum, with the lead actor set to join the set in Alappuzha on May 17.
Meanwhile, Dileep, who is just back from Australia after a short break, has a busy schedule ahead of him, starting off with the filming of Sai Baba before he joins
Jose Thomas’ film in mid-June. Ezhu Sundararathrikal is scheduled to begin filming in August.
