‘Christopher’: Everything you should know about Mammootty - B Unnikrishnan’s thriller

Mollywood’s finest actor Mammootty will be teaming up with director B Unnikrishnan for the upcoming investigation thriller titled ‘Christopher’ which is mounted on a huge budget. The makers are amping up the expectation levels for the Mammootty starrer by unveiling posters from the movie that are indeed promising. ‘Christopher’ is penned down by the renowned hitmaker Udaykrishna and according to some reports, the Mammootty starrer will be based on a thrilling real-life event that happened in Kerala. As the movie comes with the tagline that reads, “Biography of a vigilante cop’, it can be also assumed that ‘Christopher’ will be based on the real-life story of a cop. If the reports turn out to be true, then it will be the first time that B Unnikrishnan will be donning the director’s cap for a movie based on true events.

Although the renowned director B Unnikrishnan has delivered several superhit films to the Malayali audience, the director faced a huge failure in his career with the recently released Mohanlal starrer ‘Aaraattu’. The movie which was meant to be a mass entertainer sadly turned out to be a spoof movie with several references from Mohanlal’s previous films. With ‘Christopher’, the audiences expect that B Unnikrishnan will be making his grand comeback, and this time the expectations are high as it's a known fact that the director knows how to handle a thriller genre.

Tamil actress Vasanthi got much recognition among the audience for her perfectly timed elevation sequence in the recently released Lokesh Kanagaraj - Kamal Haasan’s action entertainer ‘Vikram’. Vasanthi is roped in for the Mammootty starrer ‘Christopher’ and according to the reports, Vasanthi will be playing a significant role in the movie.
