Babu Antony took to his official Facebook handle to share a picture with the ‘Chantha’ director Sunil and penned a note that read, “ ‘Sulthan’ reloading, as many of you have been asking. ‘Chandha 2’ is confirmed. Had the first round discussion with Director Sunil in Cochin yesterday.”

Babu Antony played the role of a laborer named Sulthan who tries to save his community from an evil bourgeoisie. The film which was released in the year 1995 set a variety of trends among the youngsters back in the day ranging from costume styles to even impactful dialogues. Babu Antony’s costume style in the movie shows him wearing an inner red shirt and a green shirt over it. The style is still iconic to the day.

‘Chantha’s script was penned down by the writers UA Khader and Robin Thirumala. The film also featured the actors Lalu Alex, Mohini, Thilakan, Devan, VK Sriraman, Sathaar, Augustine, and Narendra Prasad.

Meanwhile, Babu Antony will be seen playing the lead role in the upcoming Omar Lulu’s action-packed thriller titled ‘

Power Star

’. The film is said to bring out the stardom of Babu Antony and Omar Lulu has confirmed previously that the actor will be seen in those styles and mannerisms that the audience loved back in the 90s.
