With work coming to a standstill, the plight of the migrant labourers and their families who are walking hundreds of kilometres to get back to their homes is stirring the hearts of everyone who complained about how difficult it was to sit at home during the lockdown.

Bijibal posted about the sadness of their plight and dedicated a rendition of his composition of Thirike from Arabikkatha to them.
“But how can we laugh when we now see the plight of those who have travelled to far of places to make it their homes. Can we just tell them that our hearts are with them? Is it enough if we tell them that we cannot sleep thinking about their plight. Here is a song of hope for these migrants,” he posted on social media.
