Anusree and Shine Tom to team up again

Their pairing and performance impressed Mollywood movie-goers in the sleeper hit Itihaasa last year. Shine Tom Chacko and Anusree are all set to share screen space again, this time in veteran filmmaker Sibi Malayil’s next titled Saigal Padukayanu.
The movie is apparently not based on the life of musician Saigal, though the title suggests the same. “It is a musical and has Kozhikode as the main location,” says Sibi Malayil, without letting out any other details about the characters.The film is scripted by TA Rasaq. Madhupal, Sudheer Karamana, Siddique and Mamukoya will be seen in prominent roles. M Jayachandran scores the music for the songs penned by Rafeeq Ahmed.
Sibi Malayil’s last outing was Njangalude Veettile Adhithikal with had Jayaram and Priyamani in the lead roles. Saigal Padukayanu is expected to go on the floors on May 1.
