Dileep arrest: Antony Perumbavoor new president of Dileep's association

The association of exhibitors which Dileep had spearheaded during the film strike has now been taken over by Antony Perumbavoor, Mohanlal's close aide. The decision was made in a meeting convened at Kochi today. Dileep had been ousted from all film associations including AMMA and FEFKA, following his arrest, and that included his own association as well.

The association, named Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) was formed by Dileep during an emergency situation in the Malayalam film industry, when a major section of the film exhibitors had gone on strike, bringing the industry to a standstill.Dileep had emerged as a hero at that point of time, by bringing the industry to motion again.
