Althaf Salim wraps up the shoot of his next with Yatheendran

Althaf Salim is starring in the upcoming film helmed by Yatheendran. The makers have now confirmed that they have wrapped up the shoot. On Friday, February 6, the team wrapped up the shoot. Althaf Salim shared the pictures of the wrap-up and wrote, “Loved every single second on screen.” The yet-to-be-titled film is written and directed by Yatheendran, a real-life policeman who was also a former assistant to veteran filmmaker Kamal. The upcoming film has Krishnapriya as the female lead. The film will feature around 150 newcomer actors, who were selected through auditions. Actors Ashokan, Azees Nedumangad, Rony David Raj, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Anand Manmadhan, Praveena, Muthumani, Vineeth Viswam, and Abin Bino will be seen in some pivotal roles in the film.On the technical front, the film’s cinematography is done by Arjun Accot, and Akash Joseph Varghese is the editor. Prince George will be composing music for this film. On the work front, Althaf Salim’s recent outing as an actor was ‘Sarvam Maya’. The film helmed by Akhil Sathyan had Nivin Pauly and Riya Shibu in the lead role. In ‘Sarvam Maya’, Althaf Salim appeared in a brief role of a delivery agent. Despite less screen space, he managed to crack up the audience with his effortless humour. ‘Sarvam Maya’ collected Rs 150 crore from its worldwide box office collection and is now streaming on Hotstar.Althaf Salim also has ‘Manmadhan’ directed by Anas Kadalundi in the pipeline. He has also roped into play a crucial role in Adithyan Chandrashekar's ‘Pluto’, a science fiction comedy, also featuring Neeraj Madhav in the lead role. On the other hand, Althaf Salim’s last directorial outing was ‘Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira’. The film featured Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles; however, it didn’t work in the theatres as expected.
