'Aattam' trailer: The Vinay Forrt starrer hints at a riveting drama

The trailer of debutant Anand Ekarshi's film, ‘Aattam’ is out! The film is slated for release on January 5, 2024, and the makers have unveiled a captivating trailer to grab the attention of the audiences. 'Aattam' delves into the intricacies of chamber drama, promising a narrative that unfolds with suspense, destined to captivate audiences.

Featuring a stellar cast that includes Vinay Forrt, Zarin Shihab, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Nandan Unni, alongside nine exceptionally talented actors with a rich background in theater spanning two decades.

'Aattam' had its world premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA), where it not only mesmerized audiences but also secured the prestigious Grand Jury Award for Best Film. The film's success didn't stop there, as it went on to receive additional accolades, earning two J.C Daniel Awards for Special Jury Best Director and Best Sound Mixing. Following its triumph at IFFLA, 'Aattam' captivated the audience once again with its Asia premiere at the 2023 Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, further solidifying its status as a cinematic gem on the international stage. Post its enthralling reception at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, 'Aattam' garnered more acclaim by being chosen as the opening film at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Aattam is also selected to be a part of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK).


Behind the scenes, the film boasts exceptional talent in its technical crew, with cinematography by Anurudh Aneesh, editing by Mahesh Bhuvanend, and sound design by Renganaath Ravee. Pradeep Menon and Anoop Raj M are the executive producers. The soulful music is crafted by Basil CJ, coupled with sound mixing by Vipin Nair. Srik Varier is in charge of color grading and Jikku M Joshi handles production sound mixing. Bichu serves as the associate director, Rahul M Sathyan takes charge as the still photographer. Anees Nadodi is the art director and Nisar Rahmath is the costume designer. Shaheen Thaha is behind the stills of official designs.
