Biju Menon was honored with the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance as the character Ayyappan Nair in the film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ which was released in the year 2020 and was directed by Sachy.
Earlier there was a huge buzz on social media that the actor Biju Menon will be getting the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 68th National Film Awards and as predicted by the netizens, the award fell into the correct place with Biju Menon bagging the 68th National Film Awards for Best Supporting Actor.
Meanwhile, ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ wins big at the 68th National Film Awards as the film bagged awards for the categories Best Direction, and Best playback female singer which were bagged by Sachy, and Naniyamma respectively.
‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ also won the 68th National Film Awards for Best Action Direction Award bagged by Rajasekhar, Mafia Sasi, and Supreme Sunder who handled the terrific action sequences in the film helmed by the late director Sachy.
