Mammootty’s Thoppil Joppan will be an Onam release

Johny Anthony’s 'Thoppil Joppan', which is currently filming in Kottayam, is set to be Mammootty’s Onam release this year. The film has Andrea Jeremiah as the female lead.
Mammootty will play a Kabaddi enthusiast in the movie, which is scripted by Najeem Koya. The movie is set in two timelines and follows the romantic life of Mammootty’s character.
Johny Anthony had previously directed the megastar in 'Ee Pattanathil Bhootham', 'Thuruppu Gulan' and 'Thappana'.
