‘Padmini’ box office collections day 5: Amid controversies, Kunchacko Boban’s film mints Rs 1.51 crores

Despite the allegations that the ‘Padmini’ producer has made against the lead actor, Kunchacko Boban, saying that he restrained from doing promotions for the movie, Senna Hegde’s directorial debut is making good numbers at the box office.

According to the sources, ‘Padmini’ has minted approximately Rs 1.51 crore on its fifth day of release in cinemas. The movie is getting good reviews from the audiences, and it can be expected that the Kunchacko Boban starrer will collect more figures at the Kerala box office in the coming days.

Helmed by director Senna Hegde, ‘Padmini’ hit the big screens on July 14.The movie is touted as a family drama that tells the story of a part-time poet and a full-time college teacher named Rameshan.
‘Padmini’ is scripted by Deepu Pradeep, who is best known for the film ‘Kunjiramayanam, which was directed by Basil Joseph. Jakes Bejoy composed the music for ‘Padmini, and the editing section was handled by Manu Antony.
Apart from Kunchacko Boban, ‘Padmini’ also has the actors Aparna Balamurali, Madonna Sebastian, Anaswara Rajan, Malavika Menon, Vincy Aloshious, and several others in important roles.
