Mohanlal starrer Onam release 'Hridayapoorvam' had been performing well at the box office. However, as it continues its run, it has not been able to keep up with the other releases. The movie made an estimated Rs 34 lakh on day 19.
As per trade analyst Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 13.4 crore in its first week and later went on to make close to a crore each day. On the second Friday, it made Rs 80 lakh, Rs 99 lakh on Saturday and Rs 1.35 crore on Sunday. After its third Monday, the total collections stand at Rs 36.88 crore.
Theatre occupancy
The film has been performing in the native region. The overall occupancy in Malayalam on Monday was at 11.74 percent. The movie had a low occupancy in the morning at 4.71percent and went to 9.22 percent in the afternoon. It gradually went to 13.66 percent in the evening and lastly had a 19.35 percent in the night shows.
About 'Hridayapoorvam'
The movie is a comedy, romance drama which features Mohanlal as a wealthy but irritable businessman who runs a cloud-kitchen chain. The movie includes Mohanlal who has a heart transplant. He later goes to Pune to attend the engagement of a girl named Haritha, played by
Malavika Mohanan. Haritha is the daughter of an Army officer whose heart Mohanlal received.
'Hridayapoorvam' was released on August 28 and received positive reviews, though it could not mint a strong hold due to various releases clashing on the same date. The movie saw strong competition from another Malayalam superhit, 'Lokah Chapter 1 - Chandra'.
Directed by Sathyan Anthikad, the film also includes Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita Madhavan Nair, and Siddique in key roles.
The music of the film is composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
