Story: Aby and his friends are happy-go-lucky lawyers, who take up a social task when they find out that their irresponsibility leads to a loss of life. Will they succeed in this endeavour?

Review: If there is a will, there is always a way and youngsters have the power to bring in change. Highlighting a serious issue that prevails in Kerala, Pinku Peter’s directorial Yuvam speaks about the need to have youth in the forefront to create change in the system.

Aby (Amit Chakkalakkal) and his two other friends are advocates practising under a socially-committed veteran lawyer named Panicker (Indrans) who believes in the legal system. Amid their happy-go-lucky lives, Aby and friends are forced to take up a task. How they manage to achieve what has been expected from them makes the movie.

The film, scripted and directed by Pinku, has tried to throw light on a relevant issue that the State has been facing in the transportation sector. Through the story, the filmmaker has also attempted to give some suggestions to the system. Pinku’s ideas have been decently executed by actors like Indrans, Amit, Nirmal, Abhishek, Nedumudi Venu and Diana.

Composer Gopi Sunder’s music is a bit loud from the beginning but syncs with the mood of the movie. Cinematography and editing too need a mention.

As the film’s title suggests, the movie is all about the change that the society can have when youngsters start thinking differently and show the courage to explore unknown routes and succeed in solving the problems.
