The much-awaited trailer of ‘Kattalan’, backed by the makers of ‘Marco’, has finally been unveiled, instantly grabbing attention across platforms. Produced by Cubes Entertainments, the film stars
Antony Varghese, Dushara Vijayan, Sunil, and Kabir Duhan Singh in key roles. Directed by Paul George, the film is gearing up for a theatrical release this May. Ever since its launch, the trailer has generated significant excitement, offering glimpses of a gritty, action-heavy narrative set against a strikingly raw backdrop.
'Kattalan’ trailer: A first-of-its-kind experience
What sets ‘Kattalan’ apart is its innovative trailer presentation. The makers have released it in three different music-track variants titled Jungle Beast Theme, Wild Beast Theme, and Ocean Beast Theme. This allows viewers to personalise their experience by switching between background scores, making it a unique and interactive offering rarely seen in Indian cinema.
The trailer hints at a storyline revolving around the illegal ivory trade, blending intense action with emotionally charged moments. With visuals showcasing blood-soaked confrontations, high-octane sequences, and immersive storytelling, ‘Kattalan’ appears to explore themes of vengeance, survival, and the dark realities of elephant poaching.
Earlier, posters featuring the cast surrounded by heaps of elephant tusks and weapons had already created a stir. Another set of visuals introducing the younger ensemble further amplified curiosity around the film’s scale and narrative depth.
Power-packed music of 'Kattalan’
The film’s music is helmed by Ravi Basrur, known for his work in blockbuster films like ‘KGF’. His collaboration with Cubes Entertainments continues after ‘Marco’, and the trailer’s background score, inspired by the untamed rhythms of the forest, has already struck a chord with audiences. Additionally, B. Ajaneesh Loknath is also contributing to the film’s music, further raising expectations. The recently released track ‘Majako Mallika’, with its rustic and intense vibe, is gaining traction on social media, adding to the film’s growing buzz.
More about ‘Kattalan’
