Jayasurya is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Jithin K Jose for an upcoming project that is yet to be titled. The film will be backed by Rajeev Govindan under Magic Moon Productions, a banner known for delivering successful Malayalam films like ‘Ordinary’ and ‘Anarkali’. Jithin, who stepped into direction with ‘Kalamkaval’, continues to build momentum in the industry. Before turning director, he had already made his mark as the story writer of Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Kurup’. With this new venture, the filmmaker is expected to further solidify his creative identity behind the camera.
A strong creative team comes together
According to Onmanorama, the screenplay of the film is being jointly developed by Rafi and Jithin K Jose, bringing together a blend of experience and fresh storytelling. Interestingly, several technicians who were part of ‘Kalamkaval’ are reuniting for this project, ensuring continuity in vision and execution.
Cinematographer Faizal Ali will handle the visuals, while music composer Mujeeb Majeed is set to create the film’s soundtrack. Editing will be overseen by Praveen Prabhakar, with Deepak Parameswaran managing production responsibilities. The makers are planning an extensive shoot schedule, spanning both Indian and international locations.
Jayasurya’s packed line-up
At the same time, Jayasurya is riding a busy and successful phase in his career. His recent release ‘Aadu 3: One Last Ride Part 1’, which hit theatres on March 19, has been performing well commercially. The actor also has multiple projects lined up, including ‘Operation Tral’ and the ambitious period fantasy ‘Kathanar - The Wild Sorcerer’. Known for effortlessly shifting between genres and roles, Jayasurya continues to expand his filmography with diverse choices.
