Enjoy a Shakespearean play on stage

Kasumal Sapno is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s romantic-comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, translated by Ipshita Palawat. The play portrays the adventure of four young lovers in the enchanted forest of Amrogarh, Rajasthan.
A colorful cast of characters, including a handsome fairy kathpulti king and his beautiful queen, a weaver who is transformed into donkey, a band of amateur actors and a myriad of jungle sprites all come together to discover the pleasures and perils of the world’s most popular pastime - falling in love.
Directed by Ajeet Singh Palawat, the play is scheduled to take place on November 4 (7.30 pm) at Ranga Shankara, 36/2 8th Cross II Phase, JP Nagar.
